SEAK Tours is a digital product delivered immediately upon purchase. Because the content is available to you right away, our refund policy reflects the nature of digital goods — with a fair window before the tour is used.
✓ Full refund available
You are eligible for a full refund if the tour has not been started (no GPS stop has been triggered and no audio has auto-played) and you request within 48 hours of purchase.
✗ No refund after tour start
Once the first tour stop has been triggered — that is, once GPS confirms you've arrived at Stop 1 and audio begins playing — the purchase is considered used and is non-refundable. This is consistent with standard digital goods policies.
If the app fails to function due to a technical error on our end — for example, audio files fail to load, GPS triggering is non-functional, or the purchase unlock fails to apply — we will make it right. Contact us with a description of the issue and your Stripe receipt number and we will either resolve the technical problem or issue a full refund at our discretion.
Please note that issues caused by your device, browser, GPS signal, or network connection are not considered technical errors on our part. We recommend testing the free preview (the home and paywall screens) before purchase if you are unsure whether the app will work on your device.
Refunds are issued for the amount actually paid. If you used a referral code or discount, your refund will reflect the discounted price you were charged — not the full retail price.
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), EU consumers may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content purchased online. By beginning the tour — specifically, when the app's GPS auto-play function triggers audio at your first stop — you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the digital content and acknowledge that you thereby waive your right of withdrawal for this digital product, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Directive.
If you have not started the tour, the standard 48-hour refund window above applies, or 14 days from purchase, whichever is longer.
We ask that you contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Chargebacks create significant processing burden for small businesses, and we are happy to resolve any legitimate concerns directly and quickly. If a chargeback is filed without first contacting us for a valid eligible refund request, we reserve the right to contest the chargeback with evidence of purchase and delivery.
